A London-based creative design and production agency specialising in high-impact retail environments for the skincare and beauty sector is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join one of its multidisciplinary account teams. Known for delivering next-level brand experiences, the studio combines creative design with robust technical engineering. Each client account is supported by a dedicated designer, design engineer and project manager, working collaboratively across both established global brands and emerging trend brands.

This role sits at the heart of project delivery. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical CAD drawings in SolidWorks, supporting project delivery against deadlines and budgets, managing client expectations, and ensuring build quality through supplier coordination and site involvement.

The Role is to:

  • Produce detailed technical CAD drawings using SolidWorks
  • Engineer solutions that balance value, function, creativity, sustainability and innovation
  • Cost projects accurately using established systems and supplier databases
  • Support project delivery, installations and issue resolution
  • Attend client meetings and briefs to ensure accurate translation into technical design
  • Quality control work produced by external suppliers

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive product engineer who enjoys ownership and responsibility. The role offers a clear progression path into Technical Project Management, with longer-term development opportunities including Technical Design Lead, Technical Design Manager or even Head of Engineering!

About You as a Product Design Engineer:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience within the retail design sector
  • SolidWorks CAD engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Confident managing your own projects with initiative and resourcefulness
  • Comfortable liaising directly with clients and manufacturers
