This interior architecture and design studio creates luxury interiors for both the residential and commercial marketplace throughout the UK and abroad. They specialise in later living, healthcare and luxury residences with offices in both Newcastle and next year, London. With a steady growth in business, they are currently recruiting for a technically minded Interior Designer with good project management skills. Working with contractors, project managers, clients and consultants you will be managing projects through all the RIBA stages including producing detailed design drawings and building detailed designs. You will be joining a company who have gained a number of prestigious accreditations and the chance to work with heritage buildings, on luxury projects within a team of over 20 people. Skills and Experience sought for the Interior Designer: Project Management experience. Strong communication and presentation skills. Confident in submitting planning & building regulation applications with a good understanding of the UK building regulations. Proficient use of AutoCAD to produce design documentation and technical drawings. Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Word and Excel. In return: A salary of c£40k with the possibility to work one or two days a week from home.
