Join the creative team at our client’s Northern Design Office designing fun and engaging products for the play and leisure industries across the UK, and internationally. Their products can be found in schools, public parks, swimming pools, soft play centres, theme parks, museums and more.
You will be taking designs from initial concept through 3D development to production ready drawings and installation documentation. Using SolidWorks you will be producing 3D assembly modelling, technical drawings, instruction creation and data management. This is a great opportunity to be part of a lively, and fast-paced environment, working on a broad range of projects for their own ranges and industry leading companies around the world.
Skills and Experience needed for the Product Designer:
- Strong sketching and visual communication skills
- Confident verbal presentation and communication
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Commercially aware, self-motivated and organised
- Technically minded able to use Solid Edge / SolidWorks
- Proficient in KeyShot, Photoshop and Illustrator
