Job Description
Our client is a creative design studio specialising in imaginative hospitality environments for major brands and national chains. They are currently seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their growing team, working on fast-paced hospitality, commercial, and brand rollout projects, with a strong focus on food & beverage.
This is a hybrid role, combining office and home working, and would suit a confident designer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, collaborating closely with a creative team, and delivering high-quality drawing packages to tight deadlines.
The Role:
As an Interior Designer, you will be involved in projects from early concept through to full technical delivery. You’ll play a key role in maintaining design quality, brand consistency, and programme delivery across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of design briefs from concept stage through to full drawing package delivery
- Produce feasibility studies, sketch schemes, schematic layouts, and detailed drawing packs
- Coordinate design concepts, technical design, specifications, and overall project delivery
- Adapt existing brand concepts to suit non-standard sites and varying constraints
- Ensure designs meet brand guidelines, client requirements, budgets, and company standards
- Confidently present designs and drawings in client-facing situations
- Liaise with suppliers to review new products and materials
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in hospitality interior design, ideally with brand rollouts
- Strong understanding of fit outs, including spatial planning, MEP coordination, and construction processes
- Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities
- High attention to detail and consistency in drawing work
Software Skills:
- AutoCAD is essential with Vectorworks an advantage
- Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
