Our client is a thriving architectural and interior design practice working on retail, hospitality and office fit-out projects across the UK. They are currently seeking a creative Mid-weight Interior Designer to join their innovative and rapidly expanding team. This is a permanent position, although they would also consider contract, allowing you to be a key player in the delivery of exceptional projects, with long-term career growth prospects.
As an Interior Designer your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the architectural team to bring original design concepts to life
- Managing and executing projects from the initial concept to installation, ensuring a high standard of quality
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Creating mood boards, presentations and furniture schedules, as well as coordinating with suppliers
- Overseeing and maintaining communication with contractors during the installation phase
Experience and Skills sought from the Interior Designer:
- 5+ years of interior design experience within the UK
- Creativity with strong presentation skills, a versatile approach to design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite
- A hands-on, adaptable approach with a proactive attitude
