Our client is one of the UK's fastest growing eyewear suppliers, with a portfolio that includes luxury British designer brands which complement their trend-led house collections.

They are currently looking for a Junior Product Buyer and Developer to be responsible for developing and launching products for their house brands and luxury licensed brands.

Key Responsibilities for the Buyer and Developer include:

  • Liaising with suppliers and developing products and collections from briefs
  • Identifying and interpreting trends to create products suitable for the optical market
  • Stock control, negotiating and monitoring cost prices and delivery schedules
  • Developing cases and POS materials
  • Attending major eyewear exhibitions and conferences internationally on behalf of the company

Skills and Experience needed for the Buyer and Developer:

  • Degree educated and a competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong eye for design with a knowledge and understanding of luxury brands and quality
  • Experience of introducing fresh and innovative ideas
  • The ability to write succinctly
  • Ideally fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

In return the salary on offer is £28k to £32k with flexible start and finish times plus 1-day remote working per week. Other benefits include pension, your birthday off, health & wellness support, free annual eye test and optical & sunwear frame allowance.
