About The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
- This role will join our first UK-specific engineering team, focused on unlocking product growth through locally prioritised engineering initiatives.
- Run structured, data-informed experiments to improve the UK market’s conversion funnel.
- Extend the core platform to better serve UK-specific customer journeys.
- Prioritise initiatives that create real business impact, not just vanity metrics.
- Improve retention and repeat order rates through localised product improvements.
- Deliver polished, seamless front-end experiences across high-leverage touchpoints.
About You (Who You Are)
- Strong React & TypeScript experience and proficiency in Node.js with GraphQL.
- Experience working in highly iterative, data-driven teams.
- Understanding of conversion funnel optimisation in a digital product.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role at other startups or software companies.
- Experience building web products with our tech stack.
- Proven record of successfully breaking down projects, estimating timelines and consistently delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are curious about how things work and have an innate ability to problem solve.
Nice to haves
- Exposure to Go.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Metabase or Tableau.
- Experience in growth-focused roles at startups.
