Hills Waste Solutions have an opportunity available for a Mobile Plant Operative to join our team based in Amesbury. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,624.80 per annum alongside a great range of benefits, including:

About the role: As our Mobile Plant Operative, you will operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a correct and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out repair and maintenance work on the fixed and mobile plant as instructed.
- Ensure all plant and machinery on site is operated and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers’ written instructions and the company’s prescribed schedules.
- Ensure the site is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in tasks and keep records to ensure compliance with the Environmental Permit and Planning Permission, such as odour monitoring and management.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in weighbridge, office and other site administration duties and to provide cover in their absence.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a current license to operate a telescopic handler & 360.
- Be physically fit to undertake manual handling activity.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience within a waste or recycling operation environment would be a distinct advantage.
