The role involves operating a variety of machinery, including rollers, graders, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts. We\’re looking for someone with hands-on experience and the capability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be a reliable and team-focused individual who prioritizes safety and is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes for our community. The role & you

Our Operations North team is seeking a skilled Operator with a Heavy Combination (HC) licence to join us at the Gloucester Depot. The role involves operating a variety of machinery, including rollers, graders, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts. We\’re looking for someone with hands-on experience and the capability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be a reliable and team-focused individual who prioritizes safety and is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes for our community. Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component)

Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $62,779 to $69,057 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.)

Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depot located on Oak Street, Gloucester 2422. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
