The role & you
Located in the beautiful Gloucester Park the Olympic Swimming pool complex comprises of a 50 metre olympic pool (7 lanes), a solar heated toddlers pool and a 13 metre hydrotherapy pool which hosts various swimming programs.
Responsible for the day-to-day pool operations ensuring the facility is kept clean, maintained and provides a service to the community this role works closely with our Senior Pool Attendants to provide high levels of customer service, patron supervision, safety and education.
You Will Have
- Ability to work during school hours with flexibility to pick up other shifts will be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills to develop constructive relationships both internally and externally
- Royal Life Saving Society Australia, Pool Lifeguard Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid – HLTAID011 Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Maintain annual competency in CPR – HLTAID009.
- Possess a Working with Children Check Clearance or willingness to obtain.

- Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check to ensure you can complete the essential requirements of the role.
Salary: Hourly rate of $27.32 plus superannuation (for casual engagements a casual loading of 25% also applies)
- Junior rates apply dependent on age, ranging between $12.68 per hour and $18.62 per hour plus superannuation.
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be Gloucester Olympic Swimming Complex located at Gloucester District Park, Boundary Street, Gloucester.
Tenure: Casual – Seasonal work.
Closing date: Sunday 27 July 2025 at 11.30 pm.
