Job Description
Liverpool Council events are growing in profile, and we are excited to expand our team to deliver the Councils vision. We are seeking two (2) Events Assistant producers to form a crucial component in the development and delivery of Councils’ event calendar. Reporting to the Strategic Events Lead, these roles will provide support to our team of specialized event producers across fields such as community festivals, business events and the arts.
Supporting the Major Events Producers with event planning, promotion, operational aspects and event-administration to successfully deliver a wide range of events. Managing key elements of our large-scale events and festivals, such as sourcing suppliers, coordination and onsite management of entertainment, stallholder liaison and onsite management. Fostering key relationships with local stakeholders to encourage collaboration from local businesses and organizations to participate in our events. Coordinating and delivering small to medium scale events from end to end.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in developing and/or delivering high-quality, high profile events.
- Strong administration skills and computer competency.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and delivery of small to medium scale events, or proven experience in supporting a key component across a sizable festival or event (e.g. stallholder management).
- A drive to keep up-to-date with new trends, practices and creative development.
- Demonstrated delivery of continuous improvement, reviewing practices, identifying and implementing change to increase productivity and output.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
