Job Details:

  • 1x Permanent fulltime – Holsworthy Early Education and Care Centre
  • 1x permanent part time 18hrs per week. 3.5hrs per day. Shifts include 6:30am – 10am or 2:30pm – 6pm - Holsworthy Early Education and Care Centre (Additional hours available to cover staff leave)

Salary: $57,880.76 - $62,860.36 (salary based on full time hours)

As an Assistant Educator, you will work alongside experienced Early Childhood Teachers to assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality inquiry-based learning experiences for children. Our Council operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools, all exceeding National Quality Standards, and our educators take pride in delivering programs that make a real impact.

About You

  • Thrive on collaboration to create enriching curriculums, rituals, and routines that foster children’s curiosity and learning through enquiry.
  • Love quality resources and loose parts, using them to create inspiring learning environments.
  • Enjoy developing nurturing and respectful relationships with children.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, first aid certification, and child protection training recognised by ACECQA.
  • Have knowledge of child development, child safe practices, contemporary early childhood approaches, and regulations.
