About The Role

We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our educating team as a Diploma Trainee Early Childhood Educator. You will be working with a team of exceptional Educators to provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for all children attending the centre.
The traineeship is for a period of 2 years which will include a blend of workplace learning and formal training to gain a Diploma of Early Education and Care through the registered training organisation, TAFE NSW. The traineeship gives those wishing to commence a career in Early Childhood Education an opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in high quality services that exceed National Quality Standards. You will be able to learn in a supportive workplace ensuring you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to advance in your new career.
To be able to apply for the position you must be a minimum of 16 years of age (Legislative Requirement). Candidates should already have completed Certificate III in Childcare (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- Relevant work experience
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience and ability to work as a team player in a multi-disciplinary team
- Understanding of customer focused service
- Experience in communicating and interacting effectively with children, parents and staff
- Current First Aid Certificate
