Overview

Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team, supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry based educational curriculums for children attending our services.

Job Details

  • Location: Warwick Farm, Holsworthy & Hinchinbrook
  • Position: 3 X Permanent Full-time
  • Hours: 38 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Salary: $64,584.53 to $69,917.94 + 12% Super

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry based educational curriculums for children.
  • Work under the direction of an Early Childhood Teacher to foster a curriculum and learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.

About You / Qualifications

  • Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma of Children’s Services.
  • Child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA.
  • First aid certificate.
  • Detailed knowledge of child development and contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.
  • Thorough understanding of Early Childhood Regulations.
