Salary: $94,517.56 to $103,567.10 + 11.5% super

About The Role

This dynamic and diverse portfolio presents the perfect opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Contributions Planner to join our growing team and help ensure that new development is effectively complemented with the necessary infrastructure and services required to enable our vibrant communities to flourish well into the future. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the:

  • Preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Council’s Contributions Plans and related policies, Planning Agreements, “Works in Kind” Agreements and infrastructure planning activities;
  • Provision of strategic advice to key internal and external stakeholders;
  • Identification of population and development trends to inform future infrastructure and service needs;
  • Assisting with the timely expenditure of funds in a cost effective and planned manner;
  • Promoting great community outcomes through high-level advocacy with all tiers of Government and the private sector.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience in one or more of the following disciplines (or a related discipline): Town Planning, Social Planning, Infrastructure Planning/ Delivery, Economics, Engineering projects, Property;
  • Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing a contribution planning framework in NSW;
  • Experience in managing complex projects to achieve goals and meet deadlines with effective time management, planning and administrative skills;
  • A demonstrated understanding of Greenfield (Growth Areas) strategic planning and general associated infrastructure requirements;
  • Well-developed communication, report writing, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross organisationally and with external agencies to deliver quality customer service and to contribute to adaptive change and improvements.
