JOB DETAILS 2 x Temporary Full Time 36 Hours 4 to 5 days per week Salary – $25,604 to $49,469
Job Description
This apprenticeship is a full-time position within our facilities Management team. The successful candidate will work towards the completion of their Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience developing practical skills in painting and decorating on a diverse range of Council assets. This role is offered as an apprenticeship and is open to new starters and continuing apprentices in 1st or 2nd year of the same qualification.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Completion of Year 10.
- Possession of or immediate ability to obtain a White Card
- Willing to enrol and complete apprenticeship in Certificate 3 Painting and Decorating
- Class C driver’s licence (or Provisional licence) and/or willing to obtain MR license.
- A genuine interest in painting and decorative activities.
- Knowledge and perception of colours.
- Ability to set priorities and organise work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to take direction and implement feedback on performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn.
