Temporary Full -Time position 36 Hours 4 days per week (3 to 4 yrs) Salary -$31,408 – $49,469 pa + 12% super Locaton : Depot

Job Description
This apprenticeship is a full-time position within our Parks and Open space Services team. The successful candidate will work towards the completion of their Certificate III in Parks and Gardens. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience developing practical skill in the maintenance and care for councils parks, open space gardens and public trees. This role is offered as an apprenticeship and is open to new starters and continuing apprentices in 1st or 2nd year of the same qualification.

This Role Involves

  • Parks and Garden Maintenance.
  • Carry out works in accordance with the Work Health and Safety act and Parks Procedures.
  • Comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as an Apprentice (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
  • Complete a qualification in Certificate III in Parks and Gardens Horticulture while working in a full-time capacity
