THE ROLE
Responsible for providing effective career development and job search consulting to Careerminds outplacement participants on an individual and/or group basis as directed. This is a 100% remote, 1099 contract role.
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes rapport with participants and motivates them to achieve goals.
- Guides participants through the coaching process and milestone completion.
- Advices and coaches on career development, transition issues, and career options.
- Documents the service delivery record in the Career Management System (CMS) for each employee serviced, according to our pre- and post-engagement guidelines.
- Deliver other transition-related programs at the direction of a Manager.
THE MUST-HAVES
- Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience and understanding of organizational structures, cultures, and decision-making processes.
- Expertise in virtual coaching delivery, and savvy with technology.
- A high-speed internet connection on a personal computer with reliable audio/video will be required.
- Must be comfortable using video conferencing tools, instant messenger tools (such as slack) and booking links.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Excellent capacity to work with a wide variety of individuals from varied educational and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Excellent listener; must possess strong empathy and sensitivity to emotional reactions.
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed.

- Bachelor's Degree, specialized certifications, and/or higher degrees.
