We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction business for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead commercial role on their residential portfolio. If you have a background in housing and residential schemes and are looking for a senior position where your expertise will genuinely be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
The role:
- Reporting to the commercial lead, you will manage the full cost lifecycle of residential projects from early-stage procurement and subcontractor management through to final accounts.
- You will also provide support and mentoring to junior members of the commercial team.
What we're looking for:
- Substantial experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contracting environment.
- Residential or housing scheme experience is highly desirable.
- Confident managing subcontractor packages, valuations, and cost reporting.
- RICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred, not essential).
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
