About the Role
Our client provides specialist residential care for children affected by emotional and behavioural difficulties due to neglect, abuse, or trauma. They are looking for a skilled Senior Residential Care Worker to help lead care teams and support young people in their Chorley homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and safeguard young people, acting as a positive role model
- Supervise care staff and manage daily operations
- Plan and lead shifts, ensuring quality care delivery
- Attend reviews and represent young people's interests
- Assist with recruitment, training, and staff development
- Deputise for the Registered or Deputy Manager when needed
Requirements
- Experience in residential childcare and team supervision
- Strong knowledge of care regulations and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- Level 4/5 qualifications or therapeutic experience (desirable)
