Overview
Our client is a GSA, BSA, HMC boarding and day school for approximately 450 girls aged 11‑18, set in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside close to London. We are looking for a Lead Nurse to run the school medical centre and promote health care for all pupils. The role is permanent, full‑time (37.5 hrs/week) and term‑time only.
Responsibilities
- Lead the running of the school medical centre.
- Provide and promote health care to all pupils.
- Deliver health education and support as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a small team.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) and a member of the NMC or an equivalent body.
- Experience of health education is essential.
- Practice nurse/School nurse experience is beneficial.
