Our client is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school that nurtures academic excellence, sporting success and creative talent. The 400-acre campus on the edge of the South Downs is an area of outstanding beauty.

They are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Drivers to provide transport for pupils to and from school on a term-time only basis. This role offers flexibility, as applicants may apply for either the morning shift, the afternoon shift, or both.

  • Morning shift: 6:45am to 8:30am, Monday to Friday (1 hour 45 minutes per day)
  • Afternoon shift: 4:15pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour 45 minutes per day)
  • Applicants choosing both shifts will work 3.5 hours per day

The role involves safely transporting pupils on designated routes, including daily routes, trips and events, ensuring a calm and professional environment at all times. Responsibilities include carrying out basic vehicle checks, reporting any faults, and ensuring the minibus is clean and well maintained. The role requires adherence to safeguarding procedures and effective communication with staff, pupils and parents where required.

Applicants should be approachable, dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility. A full UK driving licence is required, with D1 entitlement preferred (training may be available if required). Previous experience driving a minibus or working in a school or similar environment would be advantageous, along with good communication skills and an understanding of working with young people.
