Ideally, they are looking for applicants who are interested in primarily covering one of the patterns below, however they are looking for team members who are flexible in the Domestic team as the post holder may, as and when required, undertake tasks and responsibilities across other areas within Housekeeping and associated teams.
- Cleaning Boarding Houses - Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm with a 1-hour unpaid break 52 weeks of the year. Occasionally an earlier 6.30am start may be required.
- Laundry - Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm with 45-minute unpaid break 52 weeks of the year. Occasionally an earlier 6.30am start may be required.

The role requires working while standing, covering large distances and flights of stairs on foot. Work tasks require reasonable physical effort in bending, twisting, and in pulling and pushing cleaning equipment.
Benefits include 6.2 weeks holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) per annum (some to be taken at Christmas closedown), a stakeholder pension scheme for eligible staff, free on-site parking, discounted membership of the on-site Sports Centre, free lunch when pupils are on site, Employee Assistance Programme and uniform. Although there is a local train station, your own transport would be beneficial.
