Partner Development Manager, VAR – UK THE ROLE: We are looking for our next team member to drive AMD\’s commercial success through strategic engagement with our Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partners in the UK. This partner-facing role is focused on building deep relationships and driving joint growth across AMD\’s full commercial portfolio—including client and server solutions. The ideal candidate will also engage with our key OEM partners to align go-to-market efforts and deliver exceptional business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, proven channel sales experience, and the ability to execute collaboratively across AMD, OEM, and VAR stakeholders. THE PERSON:

  • Demonstrated success building and growing strategic VAR partnerships that drive measurable sales results
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging partners, customers, and executive audiences alike
  • Skilled at managing complex partner relationships and influencing at senior levels

  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong, direct relationships with key VAR partners across all levels—from account teams to executive leadership
  • Promote AMD\’s technology and solutions across client and datacenter categories
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual unit/revenue sales targets
  • Collaborate with strategic OEM partners to align sales and marketing goals
  • Analyze sales data and trends to guide strategy and optimize resource allocation for growth
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of joint business opportunities with VARs and OEM colleagues
  • Coordinate quarterly marketing plans aligned to sales targets in collaboration with AMD and OEM stakeholders
  • Provide market feedback to help shape AMD marketing collateral, enablement tools, and partner engagement strategy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong historical interaction and relationships with VAR channel partners and strategic OEMs (Dell/HPE/Lenovo/Supermicro)
  • An established background in technology business development/sales, focused on server/datacenter, with a track record of dynamic experience selling into VAR accounts in the region.
  • Proven success driving partner-led sales strategies and go-to-market execution

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience
