We are seeking a Customer Engineer to join our global Engineering Services team. In this role, you'll help our clients globally to optimise business workflows by creating, delivering, and supporting any customisations they need to bridge our technology with their unique requirements. You'll collaborate closely with our clients to gather requirements, provide detailed specifications and ensure delivery meets their expectations. The work combines consulting, analysis, development, and quality assurance. This role blends financial industry knowledge with technology skills in a vibrant, international work environment. You'll get the opportunity to collaborate and share knowledge across leading financial institutions, as well as our experienced team within the fintech industry.
What You Will Get To Do
- Together with the business consultant and/or the solution architect, define what custom items need to be built for the implementation project.
- Collaboration on each custom request with the client and/or business consultant to create a technical specification.
- Develop the custom item outlined within the specification.
- Install the custom item in the test/UAT or other environment.
- Test that the item works, and deliver it to the client or consultant to do testing.
- Fix any issues that may come up during testing.
- Update documentation for any changes that have come up during development and testing.
- Provide documentation and review the item with the client and support.
For ad-hoc projects (existing clients), these are the responsibilities of a Customer Engineer:
- Support items previously developed and delivered to Clients. This could also include internal custom items.
- Work may be a billable task depending on the maintenance coverage in place for the custom item.
- For new items, Engineering Services owns the full project from start to finish.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in C# development.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, ADO .NET, database tools, etc).
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus.
- Ideally fintech experience.
