POSITION: Country Manager
Role Overview
The Country Manager will lead the Bangladesh Buying Office for a leading US apparel brand, overseeing end‑to‑end sourcing operations, vendor management, product execution, compliance, and team leadership. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, delivery performance, and strategic growth while ensuring brand standards across a large‑scale supplier base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Bangladesh buying office operations, ensuring efficient product development, costing, production, and shipment execution.
- Manage large vendor clusters and high‑volume apparel manufacturing partners, ensuring quality, compliance, and on‑time delivery.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with global business goals, ויס leverage Bangladesh as a competitive sourcing hub.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, productivity, sustainability, and vendor capability building.
- Collaborate closely with HQ (US) teams on forecasting, capacity planning, KPIs, and risk mitigation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large, multi‑disciplinary team across merchandising, quality, technical, and compliance.
- Ensure all factories meet ethical, social, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Build strategic relationships with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and associations.
