Job Purpose: Provide strategic planning, coordination, and scheduling support for all shutdown related activities on the Armada Kraken FPSO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive annual/bi-annual shutdown plans, inclusive of scope activity, duration, isolation and resource requirements.
- Maintain plans for any opportune shutdown workscopes identified by Shutdown Coordinator.
- Responsibility for longer term shutdown planning, maintaining oversight on companies’ 5-year plan shutdown strategy and lookahead.
- Develop and maintain detailed execution schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring integration with the company’s CMMS and in particular the maintenance plan and work orders where applicable.
- Act as primary focal point for all shutdown related planning queries.
- Identify critical path activities, monitor progress, and flag risks or delays for early mitigation.
- Issue progress plans and S-curves when required.
- Ensure shutdown plans and progress are reflective of “gated” shutdown process and procedures.
- Coordinate, align and participate with all asset teams including maintenance, operations, integrity, procurement and vendors/contractors where required.
- Support readiness reviews and planning meetings, including schedule validation and logistics assessments.
- Work closely with all offshore and onshore personnel; discussing updates with onshore and offshore job sponsors to ensure plan readiness, delivery and ultimately attainment.
- Actively participate in shutdown readiness reviews and go/no go meetings.
- Work closely with incumbent operational asset planner with regards flight seat and bed utilisation.
- Facilitate or participate in post-shutdown wash-ups, lessons learned reviews, and improvement initiatives.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to updating shutdown procedures and planning templates.
- Promote best practices in shutdown planning and execution to reduce downtime and optimise performance.
- Provide plan attainment feedback as required to Shutdown Coordinator and other notable stakeholders.
- Continuous engagement with Shutdown Coordinator and Offshore Facilities Engineer.
- Ensure a level of process safety acumen is demonstrated at all times, adhering to the 8 principles of process safety leadership and therefore, where possible, a continued focus on preventing major accident hazards and loss of containment.
- Provide operational planning holiday cover when Armada Kraken asset planner is on annual leave.
- Perform any other tasks as reasonably required.
