Job Purpose
To develop new product concepts, in line with internal and external briefs. To manage new products and product upgrades from concept to launch through the NPD process to ensure lines are launched on time and on budget.

Accountabilities
- To work on creative concept development of new products, based on briefs from the retailer, briefs internally from the business as well as opportunities identified by yourself.
- To project manage all NPD critical paths to ensure all new products are launched on time into the retailer – following the company's NPD process.
- To run the weekly NPD meeting with the relevant project teams and liaise with suppliers and customers on progress.
- To conduct store visits, development sessions, inspirational visits & gather trends to ensure we are at the forefront of food & consumer trends and keep ideas fresh & relevant.
- To present & cook up new product concepts as part of presentations to retailers as well as for internal meetings.
- To manage/oversee sample requests for all samples related to NPD.
- To manage & mentor the NPD assistant.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Ideally studied a food related science.
- Development experience
- Experience of working with, and presenting to retailers & working with retailer gate stage process and spec systems
- Full UK driving license
- Experience of Microsoft project advantageous but not essential
- Great relationship builder
- Organised, enthusiastic and passionate about food!
