Purpose: This role will focus on implementing audience growth strategies, ensuring our client marketing plans move from strategy to execution efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining and developing The Podcast Guys’ own brand presence. This person should be hands-on, organised and detail-orientated, with strong experience and proven expertise in podcast marketing and implementation of digital content strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audience Growth Implementation for Clients: Execute podcast marketing strategies devised by our Audience Development Director, assist in podcast audits, competitor research and marketing reports, handle outreach for podcast guest bookings, set up and manage cross-promotion opportunities (including feed swaps, promo swaps etc.), source influencers and media partnerships for client podcasts.
- Marketing Support for The Podcast Guys: Manage and execute content for The Podcast Guys, inclusive of blogs, newsletters, and social media, create sponsorship and new business proposal decks, support efforts for The Podcast Guys to build brand awareness in the industry.
- Operational & Team Support: Keep marketing and strategy execution organised and up to date, maintain audience growth tools and platforms, support internal tracking of marketing initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Entry to Mid-Level (1-3 years of podcasting experience), strong understanding and evidence of successful podcast marketing and audience growth principles, detail-oriented and proactive, able to work independently on execution, solid evidence of passion for/interest in the podcasting industry, networking and staying up to date with trends, proficient at using, or able to learn, digital tools such as Monday.com, Art19, Megaphone, Canva, Podtrac and Ausha, a creative writer (with evidence of writing innovative blogs and outreach/marketing materials).
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience.
