Mode Search is thrilled to partner with a contemporary fashion brand in their search for an Office Manager. This brand is known for their innovative designs, modern aesthetic, and impeccable craftsmanship, and are at the forefront of the fashion world. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving business.
As the Office Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help implement office policies and processes that keep everything running seamlessly. This is a 14-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting mid-July, offering a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their team during this period.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide line management for the Front of House team.
- Maintain strong relationships with the landlord and building managing agent.
- Oversee contracts for utilities and office service providers.
- Develop, maintain, and refine office policies and procedures to support efficient operations.
- Manage office-related budgets and monitor day-to-day spending.
- Order office and studio supplies, ensuring accurate receipt management and expense tracking.
- Serve as the primary contact for all facilities-related queries and issues.
- Supervise daily cleaning operations and liaise with cleaning staff to ensure high standards are upheld.
- Manage security tasks and facilitate communication regarding building access and activity.
- Report weekly to the HR Director on building and facilities updates.
- Conduct office tours for new employees and assist HR with the onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with Studio teams to support daily operations.
- Partner with the Creative Director and CEO Assistants on building-related matters.
- Assist the Private Client team with internal event logistics and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a fashion house or creative industry setting.
- Background in supervising or managing Front of House operations.
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
- Professional and approachable with a confident, friendly manner.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skilled at managing multiple time-sensitive tasks while maintaining composure under pressure.
Salary up to £50k-£60k (depending on experience).
