Due to continued rapid growth, an exciting opportunity has become available with a well-established and independent Global Freight Forwarding Agent based in Colnbrook, near London Heathrow. We are seeking an experienced Export Operations Executive to join our dynamic Export team and contribute to our expanding airfreight operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing the end-to-end export process for airfreight shipments
- Handling export documentation including airway bills (AWBs) and customs entries
- Coordinating shipments with hauliers and airlines
- Communicating professionally with clients and overseas agents
- Preparing shipment pre-alerts and managing post-flight follow-ups
- Generating quotations and overseeing job costing
- Maintaining accurate and timely records
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in airfreight export operations
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation
- Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- A full UK driving license is preferred
