This is a great opportunity to work on exciting fashion collections, ensuring high standards of garment quality, fit, and production.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with designers and studio teams to develop garments from concept to production, ensuring specifications are met.- Create and maintain tech packs, including garment construction, fabric choices, trims, and sizing.- Lead fit sessions, providing feedback on fit, quality, and construction, while aligning with brand standards.- Ensure product quality by working with manufacturers, conducting sample reviews, and garment inspections.- Liaise with suppliers, both locally and internationally, to manage relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely deliveries.- Problem solve any production issues, including fabric or construction concerns, ensuring a smooth workflow.- Ensure compliance with UK and international garment standards for fabric, safety, and labeling.Ideal Candidate:- Experience: At least 3 years as a garment technologist in the fashion industry, with experience working with suppliers, retailers, or fashion brands.- Strong technical skills in garment construction, fabrics, and grading, with the ability to translate design sketches into production-ready garments.- Excellent attention to detail, especially in creating technical specs and conducting fit sessions.- Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, buyers, and manufacturers.- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.If you have the experience and are ready to take the next step in your career, we\’d love to hear from you!
