ROLE OVERVIEW

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support individuals in residential, nursing, or domiciliary care settings. You will play a key role in delivering safe, person‐centred care, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in line with CQC Fundamental Standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect (washing, dressing, hygiene, mobility).
  • Support individuals to maintain independence and choice.
  • Follow individualised care plans and risk assessments.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with medication in line with training and policies.
  • Prepare meals and support with feeding where required.
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Support with light domestic tasks and daily living activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON‐NEGOTIABLE)

  • Must have Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
  • Compassionate, professional, and reliable attitude.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
  • Two satisfactory references.

DESIRABLE (ADVANTAGEOUS, NOT ESSENTIAL)

  • Previous experience in a care home or domiciliary care setting.
  • Valid UK driving licence (for community‐based roles).
  • Basic IT skills for care documentation.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
