Are you an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant seeking a new position in a Primary School based in Greenwich, London?
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic and social development.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Supporting students during classroom activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and able to participate to the best of their abilities.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring and recording the progress of students with SEN, and providing feedback to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Teaching Assistant & Childcare Level 2/3 qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of all students.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
