The Role

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, including covering whole classes during teacher absence or PPA time.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning activities across a range of year groups
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons under the direction of teaching staff
  • Lead whole-class sessions and manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo, and support staff
  • Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs
  • Contribute to assessment and pupil progress tracking
