We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN school in Sheffield. We are looking for someone who is Team Teach trained and has solid experience supporting children with SEND across a range of needs.
Key Requirements:
- Team Teach trained (essential)
- Previous experience working with SEND pupils
- Ability to support children with a variety of additional needs
- Flexible availability - various shifts and days available
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Reliable, patient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
Role Overview:
You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils on a one to one basis or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and develop social, emotional, and communication skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
