Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant to Level 3 or do you have experience working long term in Y2 as a TA that we can reference? Do you have recent experience supporting KS1 children? Are you able to commit to a role with immediate start date? Do you have experience in raising the attainment levels of small groups of children in literacy, phonics & numeracy?
Career Teachers are working with a large, "Good" primary school in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Year 2. This role will start after Easter on a full-time basis and if the right person is appointed it will be for the rest of the calendar year.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
- Hold a valid & recognised Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (or have long-term experience working in a Primary School).
- Be fully dedicated to the role and have a can-do attitude.
- Have recent experience supporting children in Key Stage 1 within a UK School.
- Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the child you are supporting and the rest of the class.
Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted. As well as sufficient references covering the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from a school or childcare setting.
