Are you reliable, hands-on, and take pride in keeping environments safe and welcoming? Do you have hands-on experience of working in maintenance or a caretaking role? We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Caretaker to join one of our schools in South Sheffield and help maintain their site to the highest standards.

Working Hours: Split Shift: 6:00am - 10:00am, 2:00pm - 6:00pm

About the Role: As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for everyone. Key responsibilities include:

  • General site maintenance and minor repairs
  • Managing daily deliveries (e.g. fruit & milk)
  • Ensuring the school is clean, safe, and presentable
  • Opening and securing the site each day
  • Proactively maintaining high site standards

What We're Looking For: Key requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible approach with a willingness to support additional duties
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

Experience:

  • Previous caretaking or maintenance experience
  • Ability to carry out repairs to a high standard
