Overview
Career Teachers are looking for motivated graduates who want to start a career in education. As a Graduate Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, support learning across a range of subjects, and help maintain strong behaviour standards in secondary classrooms. You do not need teaching qualifications for this role. Full support, training, and development are provided. This is an excellent pathway into teacher training, PGCE routes, and future school-based careers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
- Manage behaviour using clear routines and school systems
- Support students with simple explanations and guidance
- Take registers and complete basic lesson reporting
- Work across a range of subjects depending on timetable needs
- Build positive relationships with staff and students
- Maintain a calm, safe, structured learning environment
Qualifications
- Degree in any subject
- Experience with young people is highly desirable (coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, sports leadership)
- Confident, resilient classroom presence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
