SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Uxbridge
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £450 – £550 per week

These settings cater for pupils aged 3-19 with Autism (ASD), Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities, and additional needs. The schools are growing rapidly and are focused on providing high-quality, inclusive education and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one or group support to pupils across a range of needs and abilities
  • Encourage and assist with academic, emotional, and social development
  • Ensure the safety, engagement, and well being of all pupils in your care
  • Support classroom activities and behaviour management strategies
  • Act as a positive role model and build strong, respectful relationships with pupils

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people in a school, care, or youth work setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills, ideally with experience supporting students with ASD
  • Valid or willingness to train in Team Teach and First Aid
  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student well being
