We are looking for 5 available lunchtime supervisors/school dinner ladies (SMSAs) for a special needs school based in Ealing covering this role long term until July 2025! We would need local staff who are confident in being punctual and supporting children with special educational needs. The school is for pupils across Early Years to KS4 with autism, severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

Lunchtime supervisors will support in classes during lunch assisting children with play, supervision, feeding, ensuring meals are accurate to pupil's dietary needs, personal care and moving and handling (if trained). With children having a diagnosis of severe special needs SMSAs will need to be open to supporting children with feeding and personal care.

Having experience with PECS, Makaton or TEACCH will be highly beneficial but is not essential.

  • Pay: GBP13 - 14 per hour (dependant on experience)
  • Location: Uxbridge
  • Hours: 11:45 - 1:15pm Monday to Friday
  • Duration: till July 2025
  • Pupil Needs: Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language and Physical Disabilities
  • Pupil Ages: 4-18 years old
