We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join a small, well-respected primary school near Lutterworth for the summer term. This full-time temporary position has been created to support the school while they recruit for a permanent role following staff changes.

The school is part of a highly regarded and supportive trust and has been rated Good by Ofsted. With well-established routines and strong behaviour strategies, you'll be joining a positive, nurturing environment where children thrive.

The Role:

  • Teach a class of 30 children, supported by experienced classroom staff.
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Maintain established behaviour strategies and classroom routines.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across the school and the trust.
  • Contribute to assessment, reporting, and the wider life of the school.

About You:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential.
  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.
  • Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Can build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
  • Works well as part of a small, supportive team.
