SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time
Looking to take your education career in a meaningful and rewarding direction? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in South London, supporting pupils aged 5-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school provides a nurturing, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP

Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from:
- Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants
- Individuals with proven experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs

Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEMH needs in the classroom and during wider school activities
- Assist teachers in delivering personalised lessons and interventions
- Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive development in every learner
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic progress
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience (within a school or similar setting)
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
- Two employment references covering the last 24 months
