Supply Teaching Assistant to work in Leeds and Wakefield Primary schools. You will be working alongside dedicated educators, shaping the learning journey for all students. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience in KS1 support, starting in February 2026. Our supply roles support teachers in KS1. Familiarity with the national Key Stage Curriculum, an understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, adaptability, empathy, and dedication to promoting equal opportunities are the key qualities we seek in a Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting students aged 5 to 8 years (Key Stage 1).

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring student safety and facilitating access to learning activities.
  • Contributing to education and behaviour plans.
  • Encouraging inclusivity and embracing diversity.
  • Setting high expectations for student achievement.
  • Providing feedback on student progress.
  • Upholding child protection policies.
  • Assisting with supervision outside of class.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE English or Mathematics or equivalent or Level 2 or Level 3 Support or Teaching Certifications.
  • Previous experience in teaching support.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Rates of pay are from £90-95 per day, which includes rolled up holiday pay.
