Career Teachers are recruiting passionate and committed English Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools and academy trusts in Leeds and Harrogate.
We are looking for teachers who can engage students in both Language and Literature, delivering creative and inspiring lessons that help pupils achieve their full potential.
ECTs are encouraged to apply. Supply is a great way to build experience across a variety of schools.
The Role
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- KS5 teaching opportunities available in some schools
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for raising attainment and achievement
