Start Date: September 2025
One of our client secondary schools in Kent is seeking a committed and adaptable Humanities Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking Department on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will be ready to take on full teaching responsibilities, whether you have just recently qualified or you are an experienced teacher.
You will be responsible for the following;

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in Geography or History
  • Teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level preparation
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and achievement
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners,
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain focus and discipline
  • Monitor and assess student progress.
  • Support the wider school community, including occasional general cover when needed
What Is Required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography, History, or a related Humanities subject
  • Specialism in Geography or History, with a genuine passion for Humanities education
  • Experience teaching across KS3-KS5, or a strong willingness to develop in this area
  • Positive, adaptable, and motivated approach to teaching
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
