Are you an experienced HLTA / Cover Supervisor seeking work this academic year? Would you like to work in Primary schools in and around Leicestershire? Do you hold a fully qualified HLTA status? Have you got previous experience of leading classes in a range of year groups in a primary setting or a Level 4 qualification?
Position: Primary School HLTA / Cover supervisor
Location: Leicester / Leicestershire
Start date: ASAP
Career Teachers are currently working with some great schools based in Leicestershire to recruit Cover supervisors and HLTAs. The job role will include providing support and helping teachers to plan and organise classes across the school. You will have to be confident teaching lessons when covering teachers for whole classes. You will also need to have knowledge of the primary curriculum and be a confident classroom practitioner to be able to support class teachers to deliver high quality lessons.
Requirements:- Fully qualified HLTA status (Level 4) or QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Teaching a class with the support of teaching assistants
- Sept 2025 start date
- Previous experience of teaching in primary school (references required)
- An enhanced DBS (we can process one if necessary)
- Weekly pay through automated timesheets
- Experience in a variety of primary schools
