Career Teachers is a trusted partner for children centres across Lambeth, South London, dedicated to placing skilled and passionate Early Years Educators in Children Centres. We are currently seeking experienced Early Years Educators with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who are looking for a long-term role at one of our centres to start as soon as possible. You will be working term time only from 8.30 to 4.30.

As an Early Years Educator or Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the early development of children aged 0-5. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, fostering a love of learning from an early age.
  • Assisting with the personal, social, and emotional development of children, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and happy.
  • Collaborating with teachers, colleagues, and parents to monitor progress and adapt learning plans as needed.
  • Engaging children through play-based learning and helping to create a nurturing, stimulating environment.
  • Keyworker to a group of children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within the EYFS framework, either as an Early Years Educator.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
