- Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30

The Role:
As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with a wide range of needs. Your role will involve working within four broad categories of need: Communication and interaction, Cognition and learning, Social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, and Sensory and/or physical needs. While education and training in Special Needs or Healthcare would be beneficial, it is not essential. What matters most is your kind-hearted nature, patience, and willingness to think outside the box to unlock each child's potential and love for learning.
You will collaborate closely with class teachers and therapy teams to support students in achieving their individual goals. This hands-on role and your adaptability, motivation, and willingness to participate in all tasks will be vital.

- Training in PECS, Makaton, manual handling, and hoisting (desired but not essential)
