Responsibilities
- Work closely with inspiring pupils who have a diagnosis of autism and may have additional needs.
- Prepare learning materials, support classroom activities, and provide hands-on guidance under the direction of experienced teachers.
- Support pupils’ emotional and physical wellbeing, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and adapt approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience working with children.
- Previous experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
- GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Compassionate, patient, and motivated to make a genuine impact on young people’s lives.
